Eyelid tattoos

Eyelid tattoos are nothing new, but they're no longer worn by only the most hardcore collector of ink.

While not yet mainstream, eyelid tattoos are surging in popularity with the shutters being a highly visible - yet, conversely invisible - place for those bold enough to have their peepers pricked to make, not so much bold, but amusing statements.

If you've scrolled on the gram lately you'll notice a few eyelid tattoos popping up, and they're seldom on people with a full suit of work below the throat, or anything else on their faces.

So while the New Year is only just cracking out of it's egg, we here at Parloir thought we'd help you decide if the 'New You' needs a little bedazzling below the brow.

So here's everything you need to know about getting your eyelids done courtesy of two artists who've done a few - Indy Voet - @indyvoet - from Purple Sun in Brussels and Juan Silvera - @juanpoked - from Buenos Aires. We also picked the brain of Liam Sparkes as he did a dark set just the other week.
